50 Shades Of Shred: Nili Brosh: "Lavender Mountains"

Nili Brosh is a solo artist and a sidewoman found on both YouTube (Nili Brosh Channel) and her personal web site nilibrosh.com, which offers guitar lessons (Nili Brosh's Learn To Play), a photo gallery, original songs and music videos, swag, and more.

Her sidewoman gigs include working with Danny Elfman, Cirque du Soleil and Dethklok.

Born in Israel, raised in Massachusetts, and educated at Berklee College of Music, Nili has performed with Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Tony MacAlpine, Andy Timmons, Guthrie Govan/The Aristocrats, Stu Hamm, Jennifer Batten, Gretchen Menn, DragonForce, Jeff Loomis, Alphonso Johnson, and The Iron Maidens. Nili has also released three solo albums ("Through The Looking Glass", 2010, "A Matter of Perception", 2014, and "Spectrum", 2019).

After posting videos for the past sixteen years, Brosh's YouTube channel has over 40,000 subscribers. Her videos are focused on original music videos, her original solos over tracks by artists such as Extreme, Van Halen, Racer X and Pink Floyd, as well as videos of her in a live setting.

This video below is the official music video for her song "Lavender Mountains", a melodic track that alternates her clean tones with overdriven solos on her custom Ibanez build.

As you will encounter as well on Brosh's live-in-the-studio videos, Brosh is an intense picker who loves to surprise the listener with out-of-nowhere shred after setting the table with memorable melodies and solid grooves.
