Jirakit Somame is a guitarist that was born in Buriram,Thailand. He began playing guitar seriously at age 14. When he was 23, he began classical guitar studies and harmony at the Department of Music at Rajabhat Nakornratchasima in Nakornratchasima,Thailand.
Jirakit has taught guitar and music at the Department of Music at Surindra Rajabhat University and Banthanon School in Surin, Thailand. He has studied guitar with Tom Hess.

Fragment 1
Here is one of the most popular Yngwie fragments, applied to the E pentatonic minor scale [E G A B and D], using a grouping of three notes with a strictly alternate picking.
Fragment 1A
This example used the same fragment as the previous one, applied to two adjacent strings.
Combination Fragment 1 & 1A
This example is a grouping of sixes notes, using the E pentatonic minor scale [E G A B and D] with combination fragments 1 and 1A.
Fragment 2
Here is a variation of fragment 1, based on the A pentatonic minor scale [A C D E and G], using a grouping of three notes with a strictly alternate picking.
Fragment 2A
This example used the same fragment as the previous, applied to two adjacent strings.
Combination Fragment 2 & 2A
This example is a grouping of sixes notes, using the A pentatonic minor scale [A C D E and G] with a combination of fragments 2 and 2A.
Sequence Lick 1
Here is a pentatonic sounding run; sequence lick 1 is based on a six notes sequence that descends through the A pentatonic minor scale.
Sequence Lick 2
The next sequence lick, Sequence Lick 2 is a pentatonic sounding run that ascends through the A pentatonic minor scale.
