No Buffet Songs - Ever!

Palm Bay, Florida guitarist/singer Myke Cello is a gigging musician who puts his emotions into every song, and sings about topics that tend to make you think. This is evidenced on the CD-R album that he submitted, entitled Back To Basics. Cello also deals on tambourine and kazoo, while Mike Kaye adds his bass to the low end of things. Guitar solos are few and far between however, as Cello primarily assigns his six string to accompaniment duty. His live show repertoire, which includes the nine original tracks heard on Back To Basics, spans music categories such as '60s Hits, '70s Hits, '80s Hits, Oldies, Pop, Rock and even Top 40 (hip hop on acoustic?) Just don't think about hiring him to do a cover of "Margaritaville", as he states, "No Buffet songs ever!"

Myke has been performing since 1972. He muses, "My style is like the Beatles. The Fab Four. The greatest sound. I could have been the real fifth Beatle. I was the co-founder of the rock group Delta with Bill Gagnon from Ridgefield, CT in 1972." Myke does not use backing music tracks at his live shows, as he is a true solo and duo artist. He also performs now with Tom Lee in an acoustic/rock/duo called the Tree Frogs. The Tree Frogs are Central Florida's sensational new classic rock duo that specializes in timeless songs from the '60s and the '70s. Myke is currently marketing Back To Basics through the CD Baby web site.

Cello is available for anniversaries, awards nights, banquets, birthday parties, casinos, clubs, coffee shops, community events, conventions, corporate functions, country clubs, festivals, graduation parties, grand openings, hotels, picnic, private parties, resorts, restaurants, reunions and studio sessions.
