Brand X
Unorthodox Behaviour
The Story
1976's "Unorthodox Behaviour", the all instrumental debut album by Brand X, was perhaps the most guitaristic (if not the most intense) of the John Goodsall-fronted group's collection of recordings. Fans of Jeff Beck's "Wired" and "Blow By Blow" or Return To Forever will identify closely with the rock/jazz fusion found on this CD. Percy Jones also chips in with some incredible fretless bass work throughout the seven tracks. If you are a player, and you can keep up with the fiery fusion found on "Unorthodox Behaviour", you are on your way.
