The Story
Proving that like each individual snowflake, every Buckethead album is unique and can stand alone, "Funnel Weaver" offers 49, almost all instrumental, tracks of all new, heavily metallic, non-stop riffage. Less adorned with solos than some of Buckethead's earlier tracks, the rhythm guitar is center stage here - the snippets average about one minute or so each, and offer a glimpse of the guitarist at play in the studio. "Funnel Weaver" won't be the first Buckethead CD in anyone's collection, but the collection of heavy riffs and ambient weirdness fits in nicely when coupled with his other recorded works.
