Outside Looking In
The Story
With his new album "Outside Looking In", slide guitar sensation Dave Hole hits home with a raw and exciting collection of new blues. Dave's seventh album to date contains 12 new tracks jam packed with soaring slide guitar and passionate vocals. It represents a return to the full-blooded excitement of his first few albums and is bound to hit home with his many fans world-wide. From the opening bars of "Jenny Lee" the listener is served notice that this is to be a feast of blues drenched guitar wizardry. Original gems such as "Blues Begins At Home" and "Borrowed Time" reside along side classics like "He Knows The Rules" and a galloping version of BB King's "You Move Me So". "How Long" is an intense slow blues where Dave combines emotionally charged vocals with stinging slide guitar, including what might well be considered his most devastating solo ever. In some respects this album represents a return to the excitement of his first couple of releases. "Outside Looking In" is truly a power-house representation of a one-of-a-kind talent. "Nothing interferes with Hole's searing guitar when he is in full flight," said Rolling Stone.
