Guitar Master: The Kulick Sessions
The Story
"Guitar Master: The Kulick Sessions" features an all-star lineup of platinum musicians featuring ex-Scorpions, ex-U.F.O. guitar slayer Michael Schenker paying tribute to some of the greatest rock songs ever. A collection of cover tunes which demonstrates the mad axeman's signature licks and solos over a range of rock material. Schenker teams up with a bunch of different entities here, such as Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Leslie West (Mountain), Jeff Pilson (Dokken), Paul Dianno (Iron Maiden) and Tim "Ripper" Owens (Judas Priest), as he rips out heart-pounding, fist shaking, all new renditions of rock classics popularized by Elvis ("All Shook Up"), Black Sabbath ("War Pigs"), Rush ("Finding My Way"), as well as Michael Schenker himself ("Save Yourself"). All tracks recorded in 2004 and 2005 and produced by Bob Kulick and Brett Chassen.
