Mogg/Way
Chocolate Box
The Story
"Chocolate Box" follows the critically acclaimed "Edge Of The World." release. The legendary UFO frontman Phil Mogg and bassist Pete Way continue the tradition of classic rock with supporting cast of keyboardist Paul Raymond, drummer Simon Wright and new guitarist Jeff Kollman. The CD features some blistering numbers including the hard rock opener "Muddy's Gold" and "This Is A Life". Kollman is in fine form on "Chocolate Box", delivering melodic solos rife with modern licks and a wicked vibrato (he even quotes a few Schenkerisms in "Too Close To The Sun"). A thoroughly entertaining hard rock album.
