We're now into our 22nd year, and we're planning to continue this ride far into the future with a site reboot, new features, and more!

New Columns

This edition's guest columnists are writing about picking patterns, lyric writing and popular myths potentially affecting your guitar playing. We've got six contributed articles altogether - all written by returning columnists.

Tom Hess returns with an artist-based column entitled "Learn From Steve Vai To Greatly Improve Your Guitar Playing: Part 1". Mike Campese is also back discussing picking, with "Movable Picking Patterns". Guitarist Tommaso Zillio serves up a triple shot of columnar expresso with "Three Myths That Have Been Keeping Musicians From Reaching Their Potential", "How To Spice Up Your Chord Progressions" and "Getting Started With Writing Lyrics" . Finally, acoustic guitar specialist Simon Candy returns with "5 Ways Jazz Will Make You A Better Acoustic Guitar Player".
