Symphony X
The Damnation Game
The Story
Symphony X's sophomore release, "The Damnation Game", introduced new singer Russell Allen, and received tremendous critical praise. The opening title track is designed to blow away the listener from the get go, featuring Michael Romeo's thrilling guitar work and serving notice that the band had improved significantly since their debut recording. The group has, in fact, improved with each album release - the amazing thing is the overall quality of the progressive metal from even their very first recording. "The Damnation Game" is certainly an essential addition to a Symphony X fan's collection
