Yngwie J. Malmsteen "Attack!!"

To every medium there is a master, and to the guitar there is Yngwie Malmsteen. The musical virtuoso will at last nourish the appetites of his followers by putting out his first domestic release in three years with "Attack!!" A true originator who has influenced thousands of guitarists, Yngwie's animated playing style is only surpassed by the unconventional sounds that exude from his white Stratocaster. Twenty albums into his career, we find Yngwie still reinventing his instrument and sound with "Attack!!" Self-produced by Yngwie in his Miami studio, "Attack!!" features Dougie White on vocals, Derek Sherinian on keyboards and Patrick Johansson on drums. The U.S. release features two bonus tracks, the new instrumental "Battlefield" (joining three other instrumental tracks) as well as "Dreaming," recently recorded live during the European "Attack!!" tour. Yngwie has just finished another triumphant U.S. outing with fellow guitar heroes Joe Satriani and Steve Vai as part of the G3 Tour.
