Daniel L. Dalley, the guitarist/songwriter for the heavy rock band Power, is releasing his first CD solo album. Dalley submitted an 'album advance' cassette with seven instrumental tracks in the neo-classical style reminiscent of Joe Stump, Chris Impellitteri and Yngwie Malmsteen. Dalley has ample opportunity to showcase his tight and propulsive musical chops on compositions such as "Burning Desire" and "Evil Among Us: Opus #7." He solos furiously with both electric and acoustic guitars on the "Power Suite" movements, displaying strong classical influences and impressing with the sheer intensity of the pieces. Dalley was originally profiled in the December-January, 1997 edition of The Undiscovered.
Dalley's work with his band Power has led to the release of their latest CD, "Justice Of Power" in Japan through Sony Records and in Europe through RTN Records. Dalley has accumulated years of international touring experience and has been interviewed or reviewed in several high-profile music magazines including Burnn!, Young Guitar, Metal Hammer, Metal Shock, Heavy Oder Vas?, Horror Infernal, Guitar Player and Guitar World, to name a few. His upcoming solo album will certainly allow Dalley to expand and broaden his fan base, as the music world discovers the abilities within this young man.
Dalley is currently searching for music companies to either license or distribute his new CD. Labels familiar with marketing neo-classical heavy metal or instrumental music, take note--Daniel L. Dalley is here to stay!
