Stanley Jordan
The Best Of Stanley Jordan
The Story
"The Best Of Stanley Jordan" is a collection containing both Stanley Jordan solo and group recordings. About one third are originals, with lots of standards and ballads. Similar in mood and style to "Magic Touch", "The Best Of Stanley Jordan" includes one track from the "One Night With Blue Note" collection. Jordan's eclectic tastes in music are reflected in what he creates. Jazz, folk, classical and rock influences flow freely, alone and in various combinations, throughout his music - as this collection attests. Listen and be amazed at the amount of music Jordan can produce from a single guitar - except for "Stairway To Heaven" and "Flying Home", there are no overdubs on this set.
