Chad Wackerman
Scream
The Story
Spontaneous and unpredictable, yet completely enjoyable, "Scream" is the newest solo outing by legendary drum virtuoso Chad Wackerman. Fans of music a little bit different have a new record over which to obsess. The sound is based around the combination of guitar and vibes. Strong melodic lines are accompanied by some fiery improvisations, courtesy of James Muller on guitar and Daryl Pratt on vibes and synth. Bassist Leom Gaer and keyboardist/organist Jim Cox get their licks in to - all driven by the phenomonal drumming of Wackerman. "Scream" will please guitar fans with Muller's Holdsworthian fluidness and innovation, as well as lovers of high quality, well produced fusion.
